We all know that construction projects are necessary when, for example, a gas pipeline gets damaged, a sewer needs to be sanitated or new fibre-optic cables have to be installed. When traffic gets congested, or even comes to a complete standstill, it can be very annoying.
For most people, having to wait at traffic lights, or for the residents of the street, those jobsites can be quite exhausting. The noise of the cars waiting to drive on, the smell of exhaust fumes, the dirt and the churned-up surface can often be a pain in the neck.

GRUNDOBURST Express
SEDIF supplies more than 4.6 million people in the Paris metropolitan region with almost 750,000 m3 of water every day. To ensure the efficiency of the 8,700 km network, France's largest public water supplier also relies on trenchless technology. As, for example, near the Vincennes horse racecourse. There, the GRUNDOBURST 400G was used by ATP to renew an old grey cast iron pipeline Ø 100 mm over 315 m and enlarge it to Ø 125 mm in one go virtually overnight. Hats off!

GRUNDORAM pipe rammers are versatily applicable in all displaceable soils. The most common application is dynamic pipe installation. With matching accessories, however, they can also be applied for vertical applications, to support HDD drilling and, above all, as pipe crackers for dynamic pipe renewal.

The GRUNDORAM machines have an impact energy of up to 40.000 Nm and are able to install pipes up to lengths of 80 m beneath roads, railway tracks and rivers without pressing abutments. As the dynamic impact penetrates the soil and does not have to displace or push obstacles in front of it, the target accuracy is guaranteed.

Take a modified rammer, a compressor and a winch – there you have a system for dynamic pipe renewals. With GRUNDOCRACK, damaged pipes made of brittle materials can be renewed undergound in the existing path. Pipe rehabilitation work using the calibre-pipe bursting or TIP-method works just as well.

The GRUNDORAM machines are ideal for successfully completing complicated HDD tasks. Using the so-called HDD Assist methods you can apply dynamic force to loosen jammed pipes or drill rods, for example. And when used vertically, it can become a pile driver to ram in sheet piles, stakes and much more.

Awesome Power & Indestructible
Whether it’s pipe installation, pipe bursting, HDD-Assist or a vertical application – you can rely on the GRUNDORAM. The solid casing is produced in one piece from a forging. The heavily stressed piston is elaborately hardened and mounted with low friction. Seal rings minimise the air consumption. The thrust power is correspondingly high, the wear correspondingly low – with all 13 models including the mini machines.

BAUMA 2022 in Autumn
The industry can breath a sigh of relief. Bauma, the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment, is to take place in 2022! However, the world’s largest trade fair is being rescheduled from spring to autumn. Due to the pandemic, the date in April was too uncertain, because many exhibitors, like us, are expecting visitors from all over the world.
Around the megatrends of digitalisation and sustainability, bauma 2022 from 24th to 30th October will focus, among others, on the topics of “Construction methods and materials of tomorrow” and “The road to autonomous machines”. These are precisely the subjects that TRACTO has always represented with its trenchless solutions and, in doing so, set trends in pipeline construction. At bauma 2022, we will show how diverse, clever and sustainable these solutions are on around 1,000 sqm. The former Erkrath customer centre has moved to new premises in centre of the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan area! The recently occupied TRACTO building in Düsseldorf offers a large space of 600 m2 for sales and service for the non-steerable drilling technology.
The location in the Werstener-Kreuz business park is close to the Düsseldorf city and within walking distance of the parks on the river Düssel.
